How ZERONA® Works
The ZERONA® laser changes the structure of the fat cell and causes the fat to liquefy (essentially ‘delipidate’) which is then eliminated naturally by the body. Because subcutaneous fat is close to the skin's surface, emulsification of the fat can have a dramatic effect, reducing the volume of fat cells and providing effective body contouring results. While the Zerona™ Body Slimming has not yet been cleared by the FDA, studies have been completed, and full approval is expected in the immediate future.

During the treatments, RoxSpa recommends its patients double their water intake and take a Niacin supplement, which helps flush out the fat broken down by the laser. To achieve long-term and lasting results, patients are also encouraged to maintain a low-fat diet and increase exercise.
